Link your WhatsApp

On a phone the page shows a code; on a laptop, a QR (see below).

Steps

1. Go to getcatchup.in, tap Get started / Sign in and give your WhatsApp number.
2. Check the line Link the WhatsApp of +91 … shows your number.
3. In WhatsApp: ⋮ (Android) or Settings (iPhone) → Linked devices → Link a device → Link with phone number instead.
4. Back on the page, tap I'm on that screen, give me the code, then Copy code.
5. Paste the code in WhatsApp within 3 minutes.

How you know it worked

The page says Connected. and your new CatchUp group in WhatsApp says ✅ WhatsApp connected. In Linked devices CatchUp shows as Google Chrome: do not log it out.

If it does not work

On a laptop: scan the QR

In WhatsApp on your phone: ⋮ (Android) or Settings (iPhone) → Linked devices → Link a device, and point the phone at the QR. Scan it from inside WhatsApp, not with the camera.

The code ran out

A code works for 3 minutes. Tap Get a new code while you are on WhatsApp's code screen.

It is not the code from my email

Right: the 8-letter code goes into WhatsApp. The 6-digit code from your email is only for signing in.

Two WhatsApps on one phone

Use the one with this number: WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business.

Linked devices is full

WhatsApp allows 4 linked devices. Log one out under Linked devices, then link again.

The code does not work on this phone

Open getcatchup.in on a laptop or another phone and scan the QR instead.
